FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorbents, methods and systems for treating air in order to reduce concentration of carbon dioxide to safe levels. In certain embodiments, carbon dioxide sorbents are disclosed, which include porous particles impregnated with an amine compound. Method also includes preparing a sorbent which comprises feeding the porous substrate with a gas-absorbent material. Method of air treatment, which includes flow of first air volume into air treatment chamber, including sorbent. Vehicle ventilation system includes a filter element and the said sorbent.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of carbon dioxide concentration to safe levels.
