SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a porous gas-sorbing material with an excellent working weight capacity and volumetric capacity, as well as to a gas storage system and to a method for gas storage. The porous gas-sorbing material comprises less than approximately 100 cc/l of the volume of the sorbing material in the pores with sizes of less than approximately 9 ; more than approximately 200 cc/l of the volume of the sorbing material in the pores with sizes of approximately 9 to 27 ; and more than approximately 50 cc/l of the volume of the sorbing material in the pores with sizes of approximately 27 to 490 .
EFFECT: increase in the volumetric capacity of the tank.
