FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering and can be used in making rocket engines, in particular nozzles of high degree of expansion with telescopically flared bell. Rocket sliding nozzle of rocket engine includes stationary flare, pressure source, at least two extended conical nozzles, system of pneumatic cylinders, base fixed on fixed flare, hinge-rocker mechanism connected with pneumatic cylinders and nozzles and ensuring coaxial extension of nozzles, O-rings located on cylindrical sections of end flanges of stationary flared end and the nozzle closest to it, latches-fasteners located on fixed flare and closest to it nozzle. Said source of pressure is composed of slowly burning controlled solid-propellant charges arranged in air cylinders cavity furthest from the nozzle, as well as in the cavity of the pneumatic cylinders most remote from the extreme nozzle in the unfolded position, it is possible to achieve pressure below atmospheric pressure up to vacuum through the valve with the retainer. In compliance with another version of nozzle, pressure source is capable of reaching pressure below atmospheric pressure up to vacuum through valve in cavity of pneumatic cylinders most distant from extreme nozzle in unfolded position.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase reliability of rocket engine nozzle due to reduction of design elements fixing nozzles in various positions.
