FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture and repair of load-lifting electromagnets.

SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method leads are formed on electromagnet coil, coil is placed in housing space and space is covered by steel shunting plate. Said plate is welded to housing over outer and inner diameters by hermetic seam and space is filled up with insulating filling compound. Coil is sealed in plane free from leads after forming the leads and over outer and inner cylindrical surfaces by thermosetting electrically insulating material. Coil is installed with its plane free from leads downward, and liquid insulating compound is filled into coil space limited by layer of sealing thermosetting electrically insulating material and then liquid insulating material is subjected to hardening. Having installed the coil and welding of shunting plate, space of electromagnet is filled with elastic insulating compound. Preferable is method at which outer and inner cylindrical surfaces of coil are sealed with sheet thermosetting insulating material, outer sheet is clamped by bandage and inner sheet is wedged by dummy core. Then coil is sealed over plane free from leads by application of liquid insulating compound with subsequent hardening of compound, and dummy core and bandage are removed before placing the coil in housing.

EFFECT: improved reliability, increased service life, facilitated manufacture and repair.
