FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a primary installation and a method for measuring parameters of mass-time of a stream of natural gas. Primary method includes the following steps: increasing natural gas pressure, storing natural gas in first and second gas storage chambers, control of the first or second gas storage chamber with provision of successive and continuous gas pressure release in excess of any given gas pressure at any moment in time, control of gas pressure to obtain any given gas pressure, first, providing successive passage of the adjusted natural gas through the standard flow meter and the quick disengagement unit, and then transferring the quick discharge unit to the filled state, wherein the reference flow meter is interconnected with the weight estimation system, and filling the system for estimating weight with natural gas, measuring time of filling using a time measurement system, measuring mass of natural gas using a mass measurement system and obtaining a result of measuring the flow of natural gas by estimating mass-time parameters.
EFFECT: reduction of measurement error during measurement of natural gas to 0,05–0,07 %, for example to reduce measurement error to value below 0,07 % and 0,05 % respectively in pressure ranges from 0,3 MPa to 2,0 MPa and from 2,0 MPa to 6,0 MPa.
