FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in experimental study of thermal efficiency of gas-using equipment. Disclosed is an experimental installation for evaluating the thermal efficiency of gas-using equipment, which includes series-connected constant level tank 1, primary water heater 2 and gas heating boiler 3, at the same time tank of constant level 1 is connected to water supply line and heating system and has branch pipe for discharge into sewage system, and gas heating boiler 3 is connected to measuring vessel 20. To the primary water heater 2, the network natural gas is supplied through series-connected ball valve 4, gas pressure regulator 5, flow meter 6, wherein extra flow meter 7 is connected between two shutoff valves 8, 9. To the gas heating boiler, the network natural gas is supplied through the series-connected shutoff valve 10, the gas pressure regulator 11, flow meter 12, wherein parallel to the last two elements an additional flow meter 13 is connected, enclosed between two shutoff valves 14, 15. After constant level tank 1, primary water heater 2 and gas heating boiler 3 thermometers 16 are installed, and measurement of gas pressure before primary water heater 2 and gas heating boiler 3 is carried out by pressure gauges 21.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of measuring thermal efficiency of gas-using equipment while simplifying the design of the experimental apparatus.
