FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to assess systematic and random components of distortion of image sensor signal. Disclosed is a method of correcting a signal of an image sensor of low-contrast objects in computer microscopy systems in oncological diagnosis, involving obtaining a color image of a medical preparation placed on a microscope stage by a trinocular with a digital camera, after which obtaining a series of said image, followed by averaging into a single image, wherein the number of images in the series is selected such that the measured average brightness deviation of the average pixel value is less than one brightness gradation, further, obtaining N series of images without a preparation for different positions of the brightness regulator of the microscope so that the brightness difference of the image in adjacent positions of the brightness regulator is distinguished by a value corresponding to approximately 1/N of the maximum possible brightness, and brightness control extreme positions correspond to image brightness, which differ from maximum and corresponding minimum brightness by approximately 1/(2N) from maximum possible image brightness, with calculation of average image brightness for each position of brightness control, after which image signal image distortions are corrected.
EFFECT: invention provides high accuracy of calculating characteristics during automation of the diagnostic process.
