FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mobile communication. First distributed unit (DU) includes participation in transmission of channel layer context with second DU, establishment of user data channel for mobile device, wherein user data channel connects mobile device with centralized unit (CU), including radio communication control protocol entity, supporting communication with mobile device and storing first user data for mobile device, received from CU, and second user data for mobile device, received from second DU. Method includes establishing a connection with a mobile device, sending first user data and second user data to a mobile device and adapting a channel layer context for operating in a first DU for communicating data between the CU and the mobile device, wherein adaptation of channel layer context includes association of highest protocol level of first DU with lowest level of CU protocol.
EFFECT: possibility of storing user data during service transfer without level 3 signaling between user equipment and CU.
