SUBSTANCE: method contains the determination by the first network node that a terminal device is in need for a service transfer from the second network node to the third network node; the sending by the first network node a request message for setting a user equipment context to the third network node to instruct the third network node to set a radio communication line for the terminal device; and the sending by the first network node of a service transfer command to the terminal device to instruct the terminal device to perform service transfer. The first network node, the second network node and the third network node are parts of a radio access network, and the first network node contains at least one of a function of a protocol level of package data convergency, a function of a protocol of service data adaptation, and a function of a level of radio resource control.

EFFECT: ensuring transfer of the service of the terminal device, when some functions in the network device are distributed on different network nodes.
