FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are automotive catalytic composites containing catalytic material on a support, wherein the catalytic material contains at least two layers. First layer is deposited directly on the carrier and contains the first palladium-based component applied on the first component based on the heat-resistant metal oxide, the first component of oxygen accumulation or their combination. Second layer is deposited on upper part of first layer and contains rhodium-based component applied on second component based on heat-resistant metal oxide, and second component based on palladium, deposited on second component of oxygen accumulation, third component based on heat-resistant metal oxide or combination thereof. In general, these catalytic composites are used as three-way conversion catalysts (TWC). Methods of making and using same are also provided.
EFFECT: invention relates to the purification of internal combustion engine exhaust gases.
