FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalytically active product for processing exhaust gas flow of an internal combustion engine, wherein the article includes a catalytic material deposited on a substrate, wherein the catalyst material comprises a first composition and a second composition, wherein the first and second compositions are present in a layered configuration, wherein the first composition contains palladium, applied by impregnation on porous material of heat-resistant metal oxide, containing aluminum oxide and component of oxygen accumulation, and rhodium, applied by impregnation on porous material of heat-resistant metal oxide, containing aluminum oxide; and wherein second composition contains platinum applied by impregnation on porous material of heat-resistant metal oxide, and palladium, applied therein by impregnation on porous material of heat-resistant metal oxide, wherein palladium impregnated metal oxide material and rhodium oxide-impregnated metal oxide material in first composition are present in weight ratio of 1:5 to 5:1, wherein a) first composition is located on substrate as first layer, and second composition covers at least part of first composition as second layer, or b) the second composition is placed on the substrate as the first layer, and the first composition covers at least part of the second composition as the second layer. Invention also relates to an exhaust gas treatment system, to a method of treating an exhaust gas stream comprising hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides and to a method of producing said catalytically active article.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of exhaust gas flow processing method.
