SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. User equipment is configured to determine the country in which it is to obtain a list of land mobile public communication networks of the country, select advanced packet data gateway for establishing a secure IP tunnel to an enhanced packet data gateway, at that, improved packet data gateway is controlled by one of local public land mobile public communication networks having roaming agreements with home ground mobile public communication network UE for untrusted access by means of wireless local network, wherein said selection includes selection of an improved packet data gateway, controlled by one of local ground mobile public communication networks from said list, if said one of ground mobile public communication networks from said list is configured in improved packet information gateway selection information, provided user equipment home ground mobile network public use of user equipment.

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of user equipment (UE) selection of corresponding ePDG for emergency calls via WiFi, when UE is not connected to any PLPN 3GPP.
