FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a tool with manual or automatic control, by means of which capture, coagulation and dissection of biological tissue or only coagulation can be performed. Instrument for gripping, coagulation and dissection of biological tissue comprises a first branch, a second branch, a cutting element and a counter support. On the first branch there is at least one sealing electrode. At the second branch there is at least one second sealing electrode. At least one of the branches is movably installed for movement of branches and to each other. Cutting element is located on one of the branches and has a wall into which the cutting electrode is inserted. Counter support is located on one of the branches, is made of resilient material and has a support surface for fabric facing the cutting electrode. Counter support contains at least one recess which is open to the outside, or at least one hollow chamber. When the branches are closed, the cutting element is recessed in the vertical direction and is centered in the counter support, and the support surface for the fabric is bent inward to form a recess and is folded around the cutting electrode and the wall.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to capture, coagulate and dissect biological tissue or only coagulation.
