FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for reducing overweight of human body and treating obesity. Laparoscopic approach is ensured by installing a bandage in the form of a mesh of absorbable suture material around the body of the stomach on the outer surface. Then the mesh is connected with the same suture material from which the mesh is made. Application of the method allows excluding injuries of stomach walls.
EFFECT: established mesh does not allow the stomach to stretch when eating, due to this – to achieve a rapid onset of satiety, which limits overeating.
