SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for controlling electric traction system of vehicles. Method of torque control for electric motor torque control consists in the following. Request for speed control requested from driver is determined by using sensor. Requested torque is calculated based on request. Torque formed in the electric motor is controlled based on the requested torque. Performing when requested torque is less than predetermined torque threshold, coasting control to set the requested torque to zero and control the electric motor based on the requested torque, which is set equal to zero. At that, predetermined threshold value of torque moment when electric motor rotation frequency exceeds first threshold value of rotation frequency, exceeds predetermined threshold value of torque when electric motor rotation frequency is lower than first threshold value of rotation frequency. Also disclosed is a torque control device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of actuation of electric motor.
