SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a solvent based on heavy hydrocarbons, which are liquefied natural gas production wastes obtained during processing of natural gas into liquefied natural gas consisting of components of initial natural gas, wherein solvent has following composition, wt %: propane – from 0 to 0.5; butanes – from 2 to 5; pentanes – from 8 to 12; hexanes – from 14 to 18; heptanes – from 12 to 14; octanes – from 4 to 7; nonanes – from 0 to 4; decans – from 0 to 2; alkyl-cyclopentanes – from 10 to 15; alkyl-cyclohexanes – from 23 to 28; aromatic hydrocarbons – from 2 to 4; bicyclic hydrocarbons – from 2 to 4; ethers – from 0.5 to 2; adamantanes – from 0.5 to 2.
EFFECT: organic solvent which removes up to 100 % oil film from a metal, glass, ceramic or plastic surface, suitable for use in any climatic regions and at any time of the year.
