FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for driving a fan of a vehicle drive unit (10), in particular an industrial vehicle. Device comprises support device (36), by means of which it is possible to install fan coaxially and with possibility of rotation relative to crankshaft of internal combustion engine of drive unit (10), and first belt drive (12), by means of which it is possible to actuate the fan with step-up gearing, having the first belt pulley (18) and the second belt pulley (20), which are connected by first belt (13). First belt pulley (18) is located on support device (36), wherein second belt pulley (20) is located coaxially to drive shaft of compressor (16) of compressed air and is connected to it by rotation speed.
EFFECT: reduced load on components and need for structural space.
