SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a computer and a method for determining the location of a user of a vehicle. Computer comprises memory and processor. Memory stores instructions executed by the processor. Computer is programmed to: receive from first wearable portable device associated with first user, first movement data characterizing movement of first wearable portable device during first period of time; receive from second wearable portable device associated with second user, second movement data, which characterize movement of second portable device during first period of time; comparing corresponding first and second movement data; and determine the first user location relative to the second user in the vehicle at least partially based on the comparison.
EFFECT: enabling determination of the location of each user in the vehicle using portable user-wearable devices.
