SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Disclosed is an apparatus for automatically extracting and purifying nucleic acids from biological samples. Device contains an element for application of a magnetic field, a lifting element, a block of wells for the test tubes and a heating element. At that, element for application of magnetic field is equipped with holders and side and central magnets. Lifting element provides movement of magnets and holders in such a way that each test tube in unit of holes is alternately located in zone of action of magnetic field of central and lateral magnets.

EFFECT: invention provides reduced number of impurities in samples that inhibit PCR reaction.
