FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for qualitative analysis of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), in which a real-time polymerase chain reaction (hereinafter – RT-PCR) method is used. Such devices are widely used in medical practice and for research purposes: in diagnostics of infectious, oncological, and genetical diseases of human and animal; in analysis of products containing genetically modified organisms; in monitoring of gene expression for diagnostic and research purposes, etc. The device contains a cartridge and a device for control and information reception. The cartridge includes cells for reagents, interconnected by microfluid channels, a lysis device, valves, a device for isolation of nucleic acids, reaction cells, pumps, and a cell for waste. In this case, cells for reagents and valves are combined into several modules, reaction cells are made separately for DNA and RNA, and pumps are 3 peristaltic pumps. The device for control and information reception includes thermostats, valve switching devices, pump control devices, and detectors. At the same time, temperatures of reaction cells for DNA and RNA are independently adjusted with two cyclic thermostats, valve switching is carried out by a mechanical device, and detectors record changes in a fluorescent response of dyes in reaction cells.
EFFECT: proposed invention solves the problem of expansion of functional capabilities and simplification of a structure.
