SUBSTANCE: running sections (30) have a width (w1) in the transverse direction of the tire from the position (36) of the side most distant from the centre to the outer curved section (42) of the running sections (30) in the transverse direction of the tire and a width (w2) in the transverse direction of the tire from position (37) of the innermost side to the inner curved section (43) of the running sections (30) in the transverse direction of the tire. Width (w1) and width (w2) have a relation that satisfies w2 < w1. The maximum width (wb) of the running sections (30) in the tire lateral direction and the width (wc) between the outer curved section (42) and the inner curved section (43) in the tire lateral direction have a ratio in the range of 0.2 ≤ (wc/wb) ≤ 0.6.
EFFECT: improved performance on dry, wet, ice and snow surfaces.
