FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrical engineering, particularly to surgical instruments. It is achieved by the fact that the surgical suturing instrument comprises a drive system, an electric motor, a battery and a control system. Electric motor is mechanically connected to drive system. Battery is electrically connected to electric motor. Control system is electrically connected to electric motor and includes circuit H-bridge and temperature sensor. H-bridge circuit includes a high side and a low side. Low side of the circuit H-bridge includes the first and second switching devices and resistive heating element electrically connected in series to the first switching device. Temperature sensor is located in close proximity to resistive heating element. Control system is configured to control the force applied to the drive system based on a temperature value associated with the resistive heating element and determined by the temperature sensor.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing effective use of robotic controlled surgical systems.
