FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: surgical stapling instrument comprises a drive system; an electric motor mechanically connected to the drive system; battery electrically connected to electric motor; and a control system electrically connected to the electric motor. Control system comprises a bridge-controlled circuit comprising switching devices; and a current mirror circuit electrically connected to the bridge-controlled circuit. Control system is configured to control force applied to drive system based on current measured in circuit assembly with current mirror. Said unit is electrically connected in parallel to the bridge-controlled circuit. Disclosed are alternative versions of surgical stapling tools differing by means of force control.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling generation and application of various control actions taking into account electric motor current.
