FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to surgical stapling and cutting tools and staples intended for use with them. System of surgical stapler comprises end effector, barrel, hinged joint, flexible trigger rod, side sections and sensor. End effector comprises an anvil and a cassette with staples. Staple cartridge comprises staple cavities and staples stored in staple cavities to be removed. Barrel forms a longitudinal axis. End effector is connected to the shaft in the area of articulated joint with possibility of rotation between articulated position and pivotally turned positions relative to the longitudinal axis. Flexible starting rod passes through hinged joint. Flexible trigger rod comprises a proximal end and a distal end. Proximal end is proximal to the hinged joint. Distal end is distal to the hinged joint. Lateral sections pass through hinged joint. Side sections are made with possibility of shifting relative to each other on proximal end at movement of end effector to hingedly turned position. Sensor is configured to detect a shift between the first side portion and the second lateral portion at the proximal end of the flexible trigger rod. In a second embodiment, the surgical stapling instrument system comprises an end effector, a shaft, a hinged joint, a flexible trigger and a softening element. End effector comprises an anvil and a cassette with staples. Staple cartridge comprises staple cavities and staples stored in staple cavities to be removed. Barrel forms a longitudinal axis. End effector is connected to the shaft in the area of articulated joint with possibility of rotation between hingedly rolled position and at least one pivotally turned position relative to longitudinal axis. Flexible trigger element passes through hinged joint. Flexible starting element comprises side sections. Side sections are made with possibility of shift relative to each other at movement of end effector into at least one pivotally turned position. Softening element is configured to adapt to shift of side sections of flexible trigger element.
EFFECT: inventions are characterized by determination of articulation turn angle.
