FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumping equipment, in particular to devices for reduction of cavitation in centrifugal pumps. Flow divider comprises coaxially arranged in each other perforated cups with annular plates rigidly attached to their end surfaces. One of cups with plate is installed with possibility of rotation relative to longitudinal axis, and holes in this plate are made in circular rows. Distances between rows increase from plate periphery to center. Outer diameters of the plate attached to the inner cup and the inner cup are the same. Holes in this plate have shape of ring sectors, and their size increases from inner row to outer row. In each row the shape and size of the holes, as well as their number in the rows are identical. Conical tip is installed in the central part. Plate attached to outer cup has through holes for attachment and annular groove for seal. Inner diameters of outer cup and plate attached to it are equal, outer and inner cups are connected to each other by means of thread.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at efficient reduction of cavitation in pumping equipment and prevention of cavitation wear of its internal parts ensuring uninterrupted operation of the pump.
