FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve industry, in particular, to control valves of axial flow used in industrial pipeline valves, and is intended for control and shutoff of working media of liquids and gases. Axial valve comprises external and internal bodies, inlet and outlet branch pipes with flanges, flow divider, locking device, drive of translational movement in the form of rack-and-pinion mechanism. Inner surface of the locking device interacts with the outer surface of the flow divider, on which longitudinal streams of curvilinear cross section are made, which longitudinal axes are parallel to the valve longitudinal axis, and the width and depth increase to the outlet branch pipe. Locking device is a disc with a central hole placed coaxially to the flow divider, diameter of which is equal to diameter of the inner housing, to the plane of which horizontal rods are connected on the side of the inlet branch pipe, located in the vertical plane, symmetrically on both sides of the inner housing, and connected to the drive of translational movement. Flow divider is attached to the outer surface of the inner housing.
EFFECT: proposed axial valve has relatively simple design, reduces cavitation effects and provides relatively low hydraulic resistance in open position.
