FIELD: water treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for mineralization of drinking water in pressure filters. Mineralizing cartridge pressure filter for drinking water comprises plastic housing 1 with units inlet 2 and outlet 3 of water with located in it mineralizing element 4. Mineralizing element 4 is made in the form of a hollow cylinder of porous block material, made by compression method during heating of mixture of powdered components containing particles of low-soluble mineralizing substance, activated carbon and polymer binder. Mineralizing element 4 is located with a gap from inner wall of plastic housing of mineralizing cartridge and is hermetically connected to units of inlet 2 and outlet of water 3 by end adapters 5.

EFFECT: invention allows simplifying the cartridge design, providing separation into the treated water of optimal for the human body concentrations of mineralizing substances throughout the life of the cartridge, reaching 10000 liters, and efficiency of eliminating foreign smells and off-tastes over life time of up to 25000 liters.
