SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For additional myopic ametropia with the help of photorefractive keratectomy after implantation of the MyoRing ring in an intra-stromal pocket formed using a femtosecond laser, 12 months after implantation of the MyoRing ring in an intra-stromal pocket formed at depth of 80–87 % of the minimum thickness of the cornea, photorefraction keratectomy is performed with the following parameters: the diameter of the corneal optical zone is equal to the outer diameter of the implanted MyoRing ring, ablation diameter is 2.0–3.0 mm larger than pupil diameter under mesopic conditions, residual minimal corneal thickness above MyoRing ring after ablation is 70–200 mcm, alignment of ablation zone in centre of MyoRing ring.

EFFECT: method allows performing additional correction of residual myopic ametropia after implantation of MyoRing ring in intrastromal pocket in patients with myopia of high degree combined with thin cornea and improving visual acuity.
