FIELD: packers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing assembly of packer. Sealing assembly of packer comprises barrel in the form of a pipe equipped on end sections with couplings, between which a sealing element is installed on the shaft from an elastomer swelling in borehole fluids. Between the end sections of the sealing element and the couplings there is an anti-extrusion protection of the sealing element, including fixed casing made in the form of stepped sleeves and a movable shell. First stage of the sleeve is installed on the barrel with a thrust in the coupling, the second stage facing the sealing element is made with an annular bore, on the part of the length of which longitudinal cuts are made forming rectangular lobes. First stage of the holder is installed on the barrel in the annular groove of the cartridge with the possibility of movement and is connected to the last shear pin. Second stage of the holder facing the sealing element is made with an annular bore, on the part of its length longitudinal incisions are made, forming petals of rectangular shape, the number of which is equal to the number of lobes at the second stage of the sleeve. Lugs of sleeve and cage interact with each other in working position. Sleeve and cage are connected so that longitudinal incisions of sleeve are offset along circumference relative to longitudinal cuts of cage by half of central angle α between two adjacent longitudinal incisions. End sections of the sealing element are made in the form of an annular stage, on which overlapping lugs of the holder with the internal annular projection are located. Outer surface of the barrel under the sealing element is rubberised, and the sealing element is connected to the barrel by glue. Coefficient of overlapping is determined by the given mathematical expression.

EFFECT: increased reliability of operation and expansion of operational capabilities.
