FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a double-circuit cooling system. Disclosed are methods and systems for double-circuit cooling system used to control temperature of engine. In one example cooling capacity is transferred from low-temperature circuit to heat exchanger, and the cooling capacity accumulated in the heat exchanger is transmitted to the high-temperature circuit (for example, cooling the engine circuit). Cooling liquid flow from double-circuit cooling system to heat exchanger can be adjusted depending on coolant temperature in low-temperature circuit and high-temperature circuit.
EFFECT: invention provides transfer of additional cooling capacity, supporting optimal operation of engine and vehicle.
