FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for preventing the development of pyoinflammatory complications in X-ray endoscopic operations in nephrolithiasis patients. Method involves preoperative antibiotic prophylaxis and the use of an irrigation liquid cooled at 2–4 °C under pressure of 40–80 cm of water during the operation.
EFFECT: method provides more effective prevention of postoperative pyoinflammatory complications ensured by the combined effect of preventive antibiotic prophylaxis and specific physical properties of the applied intraoperative irrigation fluid.
