FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of textured electrical steel plate includes continuous teeming of molten steel to produce a slab having thickness in range from 25 to 100 mm; at that, melted steel is characterized by chemical composition containing in wt%: C from 0.002 to 0.100; Si from 2.00 to 8.00; Mn from 0.005 to 1.000; Al < 0.0100; N < 0.0050; S < 0.0050, and Se < 0.0050 and a Fe residue and unavoidable impurities, heating and hot rolling of the slab to produce hot-rolled sheet steel, wherein the slab is heated at a temperature in range of 1,000 to 1,300 °C for 10 to 600 seconds.
EFFECT: obtaining excellent stable magnetic properties in textured electrotechnical sheet steels made from thin slabs without using components which form an inhibitor.
