FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a surgical instrument for aspiration and irrigation of liquid in an operating cavity. Device includes a body with channels for aspiration and irrigation of liquid in the operating cavity and connected to them external nozzles connected respectively with possibility of supply of physiological solution into the operating cavity and connection to the vacuum main line. On the front end part of the body a replaceable nozzle is installed. In the rear end part the housing is equipped with nozzle outlets, one of which is connected to the device for irrigation of liquid under pressure. Second one is connected to the device for vacuum liquid aspiration from the operating cavity, which are connected to the fluid irrigation line of the fluid under pressure and frontal discharge of the liquid aspiration vacuum line from the operating cavity, respectively, located inside the housing. Connection pipes are connected by means of silicone tubes, which are alternately overlapped by means of additionally installed inside housing of movable plate, in free position pressed by means of springs fixed on lower base of housing. Body is provided with lever installed on top, fixed with possibility of rocking, on external plane of which movable shutter with hole is installed. Inner cavity of swinging lever has round section leading from front end of swinging lever to its rear part. Rear part is made with teardrop-shaped cut, with expanding to hole in movable flap diameter, connected by means of flexible tube with branch and with tear-shaped sawing with expanding to diameter in hole in movable gate equal to diameter of vacuum lines and hole, located in movable shutter, connected with swinging lever. Lever creates simultaneously, pressing and sliding effect of movable gate, made with possibility to move along specified hole.
EFFECT: improved operational and technical qualities of the surgical instrument of a simple design allowing to control intensity of the surgical site cleaning, as well as to activate or deactivate the given function without removing the instrument from the operating cavity.
