FIELD: pharmaceuticals; food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical and food industry. Method of producing biologically active additives with poly-saturated fatty acids (PSFA) involves preparation of fish oil emulsion in water by mixing aqueous and oil phases and their further homogenisation at temperature in range from 15 to 30 °C and low external pressure in range from 100 to 700 mbar, at speed of homogeniser in range from 1,000 to 15,000 rpm. Proposed method is usually implemented using fish oil standardized for content of eicosapentaenoic acid from 5 to 95 % and / or docosahexaenoic acid from 5 to 95 % of all PSFA. Content of fish oil in the finished emulsion ranges from 5 to 80 wt%.
EFFECT: invention improves the organoleptic profile, improves stability and shelf life of the fish oil emulsion under normal conditions (room temperature).
