FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to curable film-forming compositions. Described is a curable film-forming composition comprising: (a) a polymer binder comprising repeating ester groups in a basic polymer chain and further comprising a plurality of carbamate groups of the structure:

(b) a curing agent containing functional groups capable of reacting with carbamate functional groups (a); and (c) a reaction product: (1) a polymer with hydroxyl functional groups, comprising a reaction product of: (i) a monomer containing at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds; (ii) a monomer containing a carbon atom bound to four fragments, wherein one of said fragments is a hydrogen atom and the rest of said fragments contain an alkyl group, wherein at least one of the group of alkyl-containing moieties contains an ethylenically unsaturated double bond; and (iii) at least one polymerisable monomer with (i) and (ii); wherein each of monomers (i), (ii) and (iii) is different from each other and wherein monomer (i), (ii) and/or (iii) contains hydroxyl functional group; and (2) lactone or lactam. Composition of the multicomponent composite coating and method of forming a composite coating on a substrate are also described.

EFFECT: technical result is high resistance to acid etching and ultraviolet radiation.
