SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, particularly to adapters for use in an infrared medical spectrometer. Adapter represents a cell through which the air exhaled by the patient passes, which is equipped with windows for passage of an infrared or light beam. Adapter window for a medical spectrometer for analyzing exhaled air, in which air flows through a through channel in an adapter with a window located on mutually opposite sides of the channel so that the beam of the spectrometer can be directed through the window and the channel. Window is made transparent for visible and/or infrared electromagnetic radiation, wherein the side surface profile section comprises a step, and a chamfer is made at the transition point of the side surface to the base.
EFFECT: disclosed are an adapter window for a medical spectrometer, an adapter for a medical spectrometer and a method of making an adapter for a medical spectrometer.
