FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and molecular biology, and can be used for growth inhibition of a subcutaneous transplant of experimental human glioblastoma U-87, transplanted to immunodeficient Nu/J mice. Mice with subcutaneous transplanted graft U-87 are injected with GcMAF RF© tested in the first stage in dose of 1–2 mcg/mouse, alternating intraperitoneal and intratumoral injections for 22 days. Precursor of GcMAF RF© molecule, vitamin D3 binding protein – DBP, is extracted from human blood plasma protein and converted into GcMAF RF© by deglycosylation using two glycosylase enzymes – sialidase and β-galactosidase. At the first stage, the ability of GcMAF RF© is evaluated to activate the adaptive link of the anticancer immune response. At the second stage, the specific anti-cancer activity of the GcMAF RF©-treated macrophages is evaluated. That is followed by a biological test for inhibiting growth of experimental human glioblastoma.

EFFECT: method widens the range of technical means which are aimed at inhibiting the development of glioblastoma, and particularly on improving the growth inhibition efficiency of the subcutaneous graft of the experimental transplantable human glioblastoma cell culture U-87, transplanted (developing in the form of malignant tumor) immunodeficient Nu/J mice (model animals, in which glioblastoma U-87 forms a cancer), due to injections of the activating macrophage of GcMAF RF© factor.
