SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry and specifically to 3-bromo-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-N-(5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-2,4-dioxobutanamide of formula (1).
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a novel compound which can be used in medicine as a substance having high antimicrobial action, as well as low acute toxicity.
