FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used to determine the condition of the lipid component of cell membranes. That is ensured by blood sampling, centrifugation and washing of erythrocyte cells with physiologic saline. Erythrocytes are mixed with acetonitrile at ratio of 1:1. Mixture is centrifuged at 3,000 rpm for 30 minutes. Supernatant is then taken into a tray and distilled water is added at ratio of 1:9. Spectrophotometry is then performed at 215 nm and 235 nm. Values of lipid oxidation (Vlo) are determined. With a Vlo value equal to or less than 0.43±0.04, normal state of the lipid component of the cell membrane is determined. At value of Vlo more than 0.43±0.04 make conclusion on lipid component disorder of cell membrane.

EFFECT: invention enables assessing the condition of the lipid component of the cell membrane and detecting its disorganization in developing pathological processes in the patients.
