FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obstetrics, as well as to scientific research - pathological physiology. Substance of the invention consists in the fact that in the blood of the umbilical cord of newborns the titre of the class G antibodies to the cytomegalovirus is determined, the content of myristic acid is determined in the erythrocyte membrane by a gas chromatography method, and the microviscosity of the lipid bilayer in the erythrocyte membrane is determined by the lateral diffusion of the fluorescent hydrophobic probene probe. If class G antibody titre is increased to 1:1600 cytomegalovirus, umbilical cord erythrocytes increase in myristic acid content to 1.64 ± 0.007 %, increased microviscosity of the lipid bilayer with reduced pyrene excimerisation coefficient to 0.48 ± 0.004 Fe/Fm, assessing the risk of developing hypoxia of the newborn child.
EFFECT: invention is intended for assessing the risk of developing hypoxia of newborns during reactivation of cytomegalovirus infection in the mother in the third trimester.
