DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR PREECLAMPSIA BY AMINO ACID PROFILE OF BLOOD PLASMA Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/49 G01N33/532

Abstract RU 2717942 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to diagnostics, namely to a method for diagnosing preeclampsia by amino acid profile of blood plasma. A method for diagnosing preeclampsia by blood plasma amino acid profile involves quantitatively determining concentration of 3 amino acids – carnosine, arginine and ethanolamine – in blood plasma by chromatography-mass spectrometry; calculating the value of the estimated parameter (Y) by an empirical formula, and the Y≥-0.59 value making shows the development of preeclampsia, while Y<-0.59 concludes that the pregnancy takes place within the individual physiological norm.

EFFECT: method described above enables high-accuracy identification of possible marker molecules and diagnosing preeclampsia.
