FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clinical laboratory diagnostics, obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to predict the recurrence of early severe preeclampsia (PE) in patients with a history of severe PE. The level of placental microvesicles in blood plasma is examined. With a level of placental microvesicles of more than 17.4 events/µl at a gestational age of 11–13 weeks, the risk of recurrence of severe early PE is predicted in 78.3% of cases. When the level of placental microvesicles is more than 36.5 events/µl at a gestational age of 27–28 weeks, the risk of recurrence of severe early PE is predicted in 95.5% of cases.
EFFECT: method provides effective prediction of recurrence of early severe PE in patients with a history of severe PE by measuring the number of placental microvesicles at 11–13 and 27–28 weeks of gestation.
