Method for gluing two components on an automotive body assembly line comprises the steps of: providing a first component and a second component, applying an adhesive layer on a first component and/or a second component, measuring the temperature of the first component and/or the second component, thermal preparation of the first component and/or the second component and/or adhesive, applied on the first component or on the second component, by means of thermal preparation, controlled based on the measured temperature, and connection of the first and second components together with location of the adhesive layer between them. Thermal preparation of the components is carried out before the adhesive is applied on the components. System for implementing the method according to the invention contains the necessary units for carrying out the corresponding operations of the method.

EFFECT: technical result achieved with the use of a group of inventions is to ensure the quality of the obtained assemblies regardless of ambient conditions in the assembly system.
