SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to plastic and maxillofacial surgery, dermatology and cosmetology. Deep buccal fat pad position is determined relative to above-brow arc in horizontal section. If the deep buccal fat pad is found at level of 2–3 mm above the lower edge of the superciliary arch, the absence of ptosis is stated. If the deep buccal fat pad is positioned at the level of the lower edge of the above-eye arch, the first degree of ptosis is recorded. If the upper half of the deep buccal fat pad is positioned at the level of the lower edge of the superciliary arch, the second degree of ptosis is fixed. If the lower half of the deep buccal fat pad is in the horizontal section, a third degree of ptosis is recorded at the level of the lower edge of the superciliary arch. And in the position of the deep buccal fat pad completely below the upper edge of the superciliary arch, the fourth degree of ptosis is fixed.

EFFECT: method enables performing the anatomical and clinical assessment of the degree of brow ptosis pathology, to develop and implement clinical recommendations on correction and treatment of this cosmetic defect depending on degree of pathology.
