FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, can be used in therapy, preventive medicine, geriatrics, functional diagnostics for in-depth, personalized assessment of cardiovascular risk for its control and correction. Method of non-invasive arteriography is systolic arterial pressure in aorta (SAPao) and on humeral artery (SAPha). ΔSBP value is calculated by formula: ΔSBP = SAPao − SAPha, mmHg. That is followed by calculating a compliance index (CI) by formula: CI = (SAPao / SAPha) × 100, standard units. With ΔSBP from -11 mmHg and higher and at CI of 91 standard units and higher, arterial rigidity disorder and an increased level of cardiovascular risk are evaluated.

EFFECT: method enables providing more accurate and objective evaluation of cardiovascular risk ensured by the possibility of assessing arterial rigidity using a complex of calculated indices and detecting pathological changes of mechanical properties of aorta at preclinical stages.
