SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and genecology, and can be used in prediction of developing arterial hypertension in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. That is ensured by measuring arterial pressure in the second trimester of pregnancy. Mean arterial pressure is determined in the second trimester of pregnancy. An average value between the diastolic and systolic values is determined by the original design formula. If average BP is in the third trimester of pregnancy >100 mm Hg. predicting development of gestational arterial hypertension.

EFFECT: method provides an affordable and not requiring additional means of predicting the development of arterial hypertension during pregnancy.
