FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to dentistry. Dental orthopantomogram is performed. X-ray density of hard tooth tissues in the neck area is determined by the graphic editor of the program "Trophy 2000". If the X-ray density is 950 to 1100 HU, a high degree of ripening and mineralization of hard tooth tissues is stated. If the value is from 750 to 949 HU, a conclusion is made on the average level of maturation and mineralization of hard tissues. If the value ranges from 550 to 749 HU, a low level of maturation and mineralization of the hard tissues found in incomplete odontogenesis is stated. If the value is less than 549 HU, a conclusion is made on the extremely low level of maturation and mineralization of the solid tissues found in imperfect odontogenesis.
EFFECT: method enables the most effective assessment of degree of ripening and mineralization of hard dental tissues.
