FIELD: dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in determining the radiological density of the cervical region of unerupted teeth. Dental orthopantomography is performed and regression lines calculated by binary regression are determined using the graphical editor of Trophy 2000 program. Upon receipt of the radiological density value from 800 to 950 HU, a conclusion is made about the high radiographic density of hard tissues and a high degree of maturation and mineralization is indicated, in this case, it is recommended to see a dentist at least once a year. At a value of 590 to 799 HU, a conclusion is made about the average radiological density of hard tissues, where hypomineralised areas are found, there is an insufficient level of maturation and mineralization, in this case, it is recommended to see a dentist at least once every 6 months. At a value of 470 to 589 HU, a conclusion is made about the low radiological density of hard tissues with total areas of hypomineralisation and a low level of maturation, mineralization, in this case, it is recommended to see a dentist at least once every 4 months.
EFFECT: due to the use of the obtained digital values in the prognostic aspect the method allows to effectively assess the degree of maturation and mineralization of hard tissues of unerupted teeth from an early age.
