FIELD: dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry. A dental orthopantomogram is performed. Regression lines calculated by binary regression are determined by means of the graphical editor of the Trophy 2000 software. If the resulting value is from 610 to 780 HU, a conclusion is made of high radiological density indicating dense packing of the mineral component and a sufficient degree of maturation and mineralisation of the dental enamel. If the resulting value is from 490 to 609 HU, a conclusion is made of average radiological density indicating insufficient packing of the mineral component where hypomineralised sites occur. If the resulting value is from 390 to 489 HU, a conclusion is made of low radiological density indicating weak and chaotic packing of the mineral component and a low level of maturation and mineralisation of the dental enamel where total hypomineralisation sites occur.

EFFECT: possibility of effectively estimating the degree of maturation and mineralisation of dental enamel, using the resulting digital values in the prognostic aspect from an early age.
