FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of forming information model of train. In the method, a train parameter reading point is used, which includes control sections (CS) of the track, limited by the reverse wheel sensors (RS) located on the train path and connected to the corresponding inputs of the data processing unit, performing analysis of sequences of occupancy and release of control sections by wheel pairs of rolling stock, according to results of determination of belonging of each wheel pair to this or that movable unit. Accordingly, for each movable unit, which has passed through the point of reading train parameters, number of wheelsets belonging to it is counted, base of bogies and axial formula of mobile unit are determined, by which type of each mobile unit is determined. At least three control sections of the track limited by reversing wheel sensors are used: CS3, 7600 mm long, limited by fourth and first RS, CS2, length 3600 mm, limited by third and first RS, and CS1, length 2600 mm, limited by second and first RS. When assigning the next serial number to the mobile unit, counting from the train head part, the number of its wheelsets is considered, as well as the serial number of each wheel pair of this moving unit relative to the first wheel pair counting from the head part of the train.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the method of generating an information model of a train and high reliability of operation thereof.
